COUNSELING: You can join a weekly support group and/or do individual counseling to explore the emotional issues that influence your eating patterns. Joan Habschmidt leads the group and does individual counseling. (Please see "Instructors" for Joan's background.)

NUTRITIONAL CONSULTATION: You meet individually with a Registered Dietitian to learn how to develop a balanced, healthy diet. (Please see "Instructors" for Nina Segil's background.)

EXERCISE: You train with a certified Pilates instructor who keeps you moving consistently toward your fitness goals. Private, duo and group classes are available. (Please see "Classes" for detailed descriptions.)


SLIM WITHIN PHILOSOPHY

Slim Within applies the mind-body principles of Pilates to the weight loss process. By working from the "inside out", you build the inner strength needed to change unhealthy eating patterns, create balance in your diet and consistency in exercise. Step by step, you come to understand why you overeat and discover the power within yourself to break free from emotional eating. You begin to eat healthfully and experience food as nourishing and pleasurable. Exercise becomes an invigorating part of your life and you begin to make peace with your body. You feel better and you look better!
