Joan Habschmidt

Joan Habschmidt, owner, has been teaching Pilates for 20 years. She is a graduate of UCLA'S Certificated Program in Fitness Instruction and the Physicalmind Institute's Pilates Training Program. She has a Master's degree in Counseling, is a certified Lifestyle Weight Management Counselor and a licensed Marriage, Family, Child Counselor. She has years of experience helping people, individually and in groups, establish healthy lifestyles and reach their weight loss and fitness goals.

Veronica Vainstoc

Veronica Vainstoc began her dance career as a child in Argentina and continues to perform tango and modern dance. She is a licensed massage therapist as well as a certified Pilates instructor. She received her certification from Long Beach Dance Conditioning in 2004 and a more recent certification in Fusion Pilates for Pregnancy and Post Pregnancy. She has extensive experience integrating bodywork and Pilates in physical therapy and chiropractic settings.

Melissa Ruby

In addition to a long and extensive Pilates background, Melissa Ruby is a dancer, massage therapist and a structural body worker. She did her Pilates training at the Long Beach Dance Conditioning Studio and recently became certified in Fusion Pilates for Pregnancy and Post Pregnancy. She is a member of the International Association of Structural Integrators and a graduate of Soma Institute in Neuromuscular Integration. She combines the principles of myofascial massage therapy with Pilates to help her clients correct postural and muscular imbalances and ultimately improve
bodily function.

Heather Neff

Since 2003, Heather Neff has helped people from all walks of life achieve their fitness goals. When she was first introduced to Pilates she was so inspired by its restorative powers that she decided to devote her career to teaching it. In March of 2006, she received her Pilates certification from Body Arts and Science International. She also holds a Personal Training Certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Very attentive to proper technique, she skillfully guides clients to achieve ideal postural alignment and muscle balance.

Patti Hernon

Since 1991 Patti Hernon has been teaching dance/creative movement, yoga and Pilates to children and adults. She has a background in modern dance and has performed with various modern dance companies. She combines her creative background with a broad understanding of Pilates’ rehabilitative powers to effectively design and implement routines that transform the body. She has been certified by the American Council on Exercise since 2001.

Amy Weaver

Amy Weaver has an extensive modern dance background. She toured nationally with Riverdance and has performed in dance and stage productions from New York to Dublin. Her eight-year background in Pilates includes intensive training in New York and Los Angeles. Trained as a classical actor, Amy approaches Pilates with a focus on achieving ease of movement and, at the same time, providing a vigorous workout.

Eva Rose Cook

Eva Rose Cook has an extensive dance and yoga background and received her Pilates certification in 2004 from Long Beach Dance Conditioning. She has further training from IDEA Health and Fitness Association and Pilates on Tour. She was a dance instructor at the DanceArts Academy from 1990 to 1995. In addition to teaching Pilates in physical therapy settings, she teaches community outreach classes for underserved teens.

Kiomi Emi

Kiomi Emi creates an expansive, healing environment and inspires her clients to strengthen and heal their bodies. A lifelong dance and fitness enthusiast, she was so inspired by Pilates that she became certified in 2000 by Long Beach Dance Conditioning. She has additional training in utilizing the Trap table for rehabilitation of chronic movement limitations. Having taught mat classes for years, she adds a unique blend of mat and Reformer exercises to her clients’ Pilates routines.
